Matthew Hemminghaus have a bachelors degree in fine art from the University of Illinois and interests in nature. The farm where I live, which is owned by my brothers and me, has been converted to native grasses and wildflowers, and is managed with the prescribed fires, an essential tool to prairie management. I have loved birds ever since I can remember, and purchased my Audubon Field Guide to North American Bird (Eastern Region) when I was 13. It only makes sense that I have turned my eye to the birds that I have always loved, and create habitats for them to temporarily “live” in.
